Dorah Anono
Program Coordinator, ANEHOPE School Sanitary Pads
Dorah Anono holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Business Administration from Kenyatta University. She has been an integral part of ANEHOPE as a volunteer since 2015. Her unwavering passion lies in girls’ education and empowerment. Dorah’s work with the ANEHOPE program focuses on addressing the impact of Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) on girls, particularly within the pastoralist community. FGM practices often hinder girls’ access to education and affect their entire lives. Dorah actively empowers these girls by providing support and education, emphasizing Christian values through rites of passage, and ensuring access to sanitary pads. Currently, Dorah is pursuing further education in the USA, continuing her commitment to improving the lives of young girls in Kenya and compassion.

Anthony Aguyo (Tony) Home Visit Coordinator, ANEHOPE
Anthony Aguyo joined ANEHOPE in 2018 and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Kenya Technical University Of Kenya. His role is crucial in ensuring the well-being and progress of the children supported by ANEHOPE. As the Home Visit Coordinator, Anthony conducts home mentorship programs for the children in Kenya. He also oversees the scholarship programs, assessing the needs of the students and working closely with their families. His dedication extends to evaluating the impact of ANEHOPE’s school scholarships, particularly among bright kids from less privileged backgrounds, including those in slums and urban refuge communities. Anthony’s commitment ensures that enrolled children have access to quality education and Christian values. Additionally, he plays a vital role in overseeing ANEHOPE’s programs in both Kenya and Uganda. Continuing her commitment to improving the lives of young girls in Kenya and compassion.

Vincent Nizeyimana: Rwanda-Congo-Burundi Coordinator, ANEHOPE
Vincent Nizeyimana has been an integral part of ANEHOPE since 2016. As the program coordinator for Rwanda, Burundi, and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), he plays a crucial role in ensuring that bright children from less privileged communities have access to quality education. Vincent oversees ANEHOPE’s scholarship programs in these three countries. His dedication has resulted in more than 25 children benefiting from ANEHOPE scholarships. Remarkably, seven of these students have successfully completed their university education at various institutions in Rwanda, Burundi, and the cities of Bukavu and Goma in Eastern DRC. Beyond scholarships, Vincent continues to champion education in refugee camps in Eastern DRC. Despite the challenges posed by conflicts, he remains committed to providing educational opportunities for children who would otherwise have no access to formal schooling. Vincent Nizeyimana’s unwavering commitment to empowering young minds through education is truly commendable continuing her commitment to improving the lives of young girls in Kenya and compassion.
