Testimony Highlights
Iwamiti A. Ismail is a bright and determined young student at St. Mary Laetitiae in Uganda. He comes from a humble family of six, where his parents work tirelessly to provide for their children. His family’s livelihood depends on a small farm, which provides food for the household, while his parents take on labor-intensive jobs on other people’s farms to earn money. Despite their efforts, the burden of school fees has always been a significant challenge. Ismail’s life took a hopeful turn when ANEHOPE Ministry stepped in to support his secondary school education. With this vital assistance, he can now focus entirely on his studies, relieved from the fear of being sent home due to unpaid fees. His parents, too, are no longer overwhelmed by the worry of affording his education, and their support motivates him to dream big. Beyond his academic aspirations, Ismail is a passionate soccer player and enjoys spending his free time on the field with his friends. When not studying or playing soccer, he helps his parents on the farm, planting crops and assisting with daily chores. His strong sense of responsibility and determination stems from the hardships his family faces and the unwavering faith they share. Ismail dreams of becoming a medical doctor, specializing in orthopedics. This passion is deeply personal, as one of his parents lives with a disability that could have been prevented with access to proper medical care. He envisions a future where he can provide life-changing care to others, especially children with bone disabilities, giving them the chance to lead healthy and fulfilling lives.Ismail has also embraced Christ as his personal Savior and finds great joy in sharing the gospel with his peers. He is currently learning to play the piano and hopes to use this skill to serve in his church. Through faith, hard work, and the support of ANEHOPE Ministry, he is building a brighter future for himself and his family.
